THE BIGGEST NIGHT OF ISLAM ; LAYLAT AL-QUADR

        The holy months have made us rich both physically and spiritually. However, being rich is not good. The good thing is to know the value of richness and to take it beyond and make it continue after Ramadan. For that reason, I hope that, during this Ramadan, we shall not hang the prayer beads on the wall and put the prayer rug into the closet and fail in performing five time prayer until the next Ramadan with the three-month spiritual discipline but instead pay regard to honest and ill-gotten gains and try to live humanely. Thus, each day works in favor of us. Each day makes us spiritually more mature. Each day makes us a perfect human being.

       Afterlife is the realm of pure people.  If we do not reach the purity here, Allah has places for making us pure in the afterlife. We would have to stop by those places. Reaching purity in such places is much more severe and difficult to endure. So, we should not wait for the afterlife but endeavor to reach purity in this life. We have to try to shuffle off this mortal coil as a pure servant because Allah sent us to this life as a pure servant. Each and every Islamic creation is born for faith. It says that you came into this life as a pure person. However, in this life, you have been ravished a little bit, you have been careless, you have made wicked friends, and they have made you lose your way and made your heart get dusty and rusty. Now, these holy months are for removing such dust and rust and purifying our hearts. They are for removing everything but our love for Allah. They are for placing the love for, respect to and fear of Allah.

       Mohammed says “if you are not afraid of Allah, everything is futile.” It is the love for, respect to and fear of Allah that restrains people, enables them to live humanely and makes them to look for honest gains. It says that, even though you make two police officers and a guardian watch a bad man, he does evil in the twinkling of an eye. The thing that should watch him is the wisdom of the prophet. The starting point of wisdom is the love for, respect to and fear of Allah.

       Allah is not an entity that we have to be afraid of. We are afraid that he would not accept us as his servants. The Supreme Being, keep us from negligence, let us be aware, and predestine for being aware of what we are doing (Amen).

       As you know, this night is the most important night; Laylat Al-Quadr is the most important night in Islam. Allah has hidden this night from us. He has hidden this night from us so that we spend each and every night as Laylat Al-Quadr. Mohammed gave us some of the signs of this night. He told us to look for Laylat Al-Quadr within the last ten days of Ramadan and within the odd-numbered nights. Some of our elders say that, in the Sura Al-Quadr, Al-Quadr letters are three. Allah mentions Laylat Al-Quadr for three times in this sura. According to Abjad numerals, Al-Quadr letters include 9.  Three nines are equal to twenty seven. So, it is said that Laylat Al-Quadr is the twenty seventh night of Ramadan. This holy night has always been determined to be the twenty seventh night of Ramadan. Mohammad spent the last ten days of Ramadan worshipping. Now, we are at such a night. Allah, make this night holy for our nation and country and predestine for spending the next year in a more conscious way and for celebrating it in a more Islamic way as a nation. Allah, in this sura, says ‘’ Lo! We revealed the Quran on the Night of Predestination. Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! The Night of Power has more blessings than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.”

                                     İSLAM’DA EN BÜYÜK GECE ;  KADİR GECESİ

       Üç aylar bizi zengin etti ruhen zengin etti. Ama zengin olmak güzel değil (asıl olan ) zenginliğin kadri kıymetini bilmek zenginliği ötelere götürmek bayramdan sonra da devam ettirmek. Bu nedenle inşallah biz bayramda tespihi çiviye, seccadeyi dolaba koymaz ,bu aldığımız üç aylık manevi bir terbiye ile gelecek Ramazan’a kadar beş vakit namazda kusur etmez, haramı helali gözetir insan gibi yaşamaya gayret sarf ederiz. Böylelikle de her gün bizim lehimize çalışır. Her gün bizi ruhen olgunlaştırır. Kamil bir insan yapar.

        Ahiret alemi temizler alemidir.  O temizliği burada yapmayacak olursak , Hz Allah’ın ahret hanemizde temizlik müesseseleri var. Oraya uğramak mecburiyetinde kalırız . Oranın temizliği çok şiddetli , tahammülü güç. Bu nedenle temizliği oraya koymamalı temizliği burada yapmaya gayret etmeli. Temiz bir tevvab olarak (ahrete göçmeye çalışmalı) Çünkü Hz Allah temiz olarak bizi bu aleme gönderdi. Her doğan İslam fıtratı üzerine iman üzere doğar. Temiz geldiniz diyor. Ama Sümme radednahüm esfele safilin ama bu dünyada biraz kirlendiniz, gaflete düştünüz , hayırsız arkadaşlara düştünüz, sizin yolunuzu şaşırttı, bir takım gönül kabenizi tozlandırdı, paslandırdı. İşte bu üç aylar bu  tozu pası silme ayları Gönül Kabemizi arıtma ayları gönül Kabemizde Allah sevgisinden maada ne varsa onu sürüp çıkarma ayları. Oraya Allah sevgisini Allah saygısını Allah korkusunu yerleştirme ayları.

         Allah’tan korkmuyorsan diyor Hz Muhammed;  ne yaparsan yap diyor. İnsanı frenleyen insanı insan gibi yaşatan insana helal rızık aratan Allah korkusu, Allah sevgisi, Allah saygısıdır. Bir kötü adamın başına iki tane polis bir tane bekçi dikseniz o kötü adam kaşla göz arasında o kötülüğünü yapar diyor. Ona dikilecek olan şey re’sül hikmeti mehafetullah Hikmetin başı Allah korkusudur, Allah sevgisidir, Allah saygısıdır.

         Allahü Teala korkulacak bir varlık değildir. Kulum demeyiverir korkumuz ondandır. Cenabı Hak nevmü gafletten ikaz buyursun hayırlı uyanıklar versin bize ne yaptığımızı bilmek nasip etsin (amin)

       Efendim, malum bu gece en büyük gece; İslam’da en büyük gece Kadir Gecesi. Hz Allah cc bu geceyi bizden gizlemiş  Biz her gecemizi Kadir Gecesi gibi geçirmemiz için bu geceyi bizden gizlemiş. Allah Rasulu (sav) bu gecenin bazı işaretlerini vermiş.  Siz Ramazan’ın son on gününde Kadir Gecesi’ni arayınız  , Tek gecelerde arayın demiş. Bazı büyükler de Kadir Suresinde Kadir harfleri üçtür diyor. Hz Allah bu surede kadir gecesini üç sefer anmış ebced hesabıyla kadir harfleri 9 u ihtiva ediyor.  Üç (adet) dokuz da yirmi yedi olduğuna göre inşaallah kadir gecesi ramazanın yirmi yedinci gecesidir demişler. Oldum olası bu mübarek gece Ramazan’ın yirmi yedisinde tespit edile gelmiş.  Allah Rasulu de bu ramazanın son on gününü itikaf ile geçirirlerdi, tamamını ibadete verirlerdi. İşte biz şimdi böyle bir gecenin içindeyiz . Bu gecemizi millet memleket hakkında müteyemmim mübarek kılsın. Gelecek yılı milletçe daha uyanık geçirmemizi nasip etsin. Daha İslam’a yakışır biçimde kutlamamızı nasip etsin. Hz Allah bu sure i celilede bize ‘’ Gerçek biz onu Kuranı Kerimi kadir gecesinde indirdik Kadir gecesinin büyüklüğünü şanını sana bildiren nedir kadir gecesi içinde kadir gecesi bulunmayan bin aydan daha hayırlıdır diyor. Onda melekler ve ruh rablerinin izniyle her bir iş için iner o gece tanyeri ağarıncaya kadar bir selamettir.
